New Moon" book vs. "New Moon" film

Hello, everyone!
I have already read the "New Moon". It is awesome! The only question I've got while reading is how the director of "New Moon" film will manage to put a 500-pages book into a 2-hours film?
In fact, it doesn't matter much, because I believe the "New Moon" would be as fine as the novel.
What is your opinion?

Hey! Nice idea! I haven't thought about a more-than-2-hours film. Maybe the director will hear our prays and make th "New Moon" a bit longer!

I realised Kristen is a marvelous actress. I have seen her movies - "In the land of women" and "The Messengers". Her play was so impressive! She is so young but so talented. I believe Kris will manage to render Bella's emotions thoroughly.

yah..,,it wud be nice if new moon will be shown more dan 2 hours..in dat case, chris will be able too put all the 500 pages book in a film..i just wish they put all the good lines and scenes in the book to the film.

if the fild would only be two hours, i bet what would happen would be the same as what happened in twilight. heaps of details would be not shown. ex. for twilight was Bella's blood phobia and the Blood type chapter
